தன்னுயிர் நீப்பினும் செய்யற்க தான்பிறிது
இன்னுயிர் நீக்கும் வினை.

தன் உயிரே போவதாக இருந்தாலும் இன்னோர் உயிரைக் கொல்லும் செயலைச் செய்யாதே.

Even at the risk of self, refrain from acts that cause the harmless beings, pain of losing their lives.
